How Proppally is paid
Basic browsing and standard listings are free. A host may choose a ₦50,000 Premium review and 30 days of promotion; payment buys the review, never a guaranteed badge. For a protected shortlet booking, Proppally deducts 1% of accommodation from the host payout. Cleaning fees and refundable caution are excluded. When live payments launch, processor charges will be itemised separately.

Law versus the Proppally standard
Lagos caps the letting/agency fee at 10% of rent for the transaction. Under the 2021 Real Estate Regulatory Authority Law, tenancy agreements must be prepared by a legal practitioner and professional charges follow the applicable Legal Practitioners’ scale of fees—the current law does not impose a flat 12.5% legal-fee ceiling. Proppally separately keeps agency, legal/documentation, facilitation and non-refundable platform charges within its own combined 20% Fair-Fee Guarantee. This is a Proppally consumer-protection standard, not a statutory combined cap. Genuine service charges and refundable caution are disclosed separately.
